GHOST WOMEN
They began gathering, many, many women. All ages. All cultures. Ghost-like energies. Haunted women. They’ve connected with me before when I was writing Breaking Through Silence (pgs. 116—128).
One young woman stepped forward showing herself in her early 20s from the early 1970s. She looked like a hippie with her cascading, kinky blonde hair under a large brown suede Australian outback hat. Her eyes were striking blue. “Rosemary’s Baby,” she repeated several times, referring to an unwanted pregnancy. She then showed herself as an old woman, still beautiful but carrying deep emotional scars from the trauma of an unwanted pregnancy and the agony of being forever condemned for her “fall from grace.”
The women behind her, haunted by the same trauma of their “sin”, still condemning themselves. Old dead women. Young dead women. Still bearing the trauma of shame, not understanding that they were victims. Dead women searching for relief, for absolution that only they can provide themselves.

#NO WIRE HANGERS
They coalesced in complete, utter silence, one after the other. Each woman barefoot, wearing a gauzy white, ankle-length nightgown. Such gentle energy. Silently staring forward. Each projecting the image of a wire coat hangar into the energy field. A silent coalition. A powerful coalition.
Before abortion was decriminalized, there were many methods girls and women utilized to self-abort--a wire coat hanger was one of them.
